More postcard stuff!
As of Saturday afternoon, I've been completely caught up with the fundraiser postcard orders. Hopefully everyone is getting their cards in a timely manner based on how quickly they got their orders in.
Since the weekend, orders have definetly slowed down, which isn't surprising... however they do keep coming in, so I've decided to set the final deadline for placing an order at 12/21/2006 (this Thursday). I'll probably leave the order buttons up, and if people want to keep buying postcards after Thursday they can, but any cards ordered after that won't ship out until after Christmas since I'm going away for the holidays.

Fortunately I got a lot done this weekend... including cleaning out my office. It is no longer the dumping ground that you saw in photos of last week. Certainly makes me feel a lot better.
As for comics, I plan to do the next one tonight, and then I have a SketchBattle final due Friday. Maybe I can get a few other things done too. At the very least, it's nice to be gaining some ground on all the stuff I've been working on.

Attention holiday postcard purchasers: you rock!
The fundraiser is going great! It's a super rough estimate, but as of Friday morning... we've raised somewhere around $1,200!
Awesome, huh? I can't wait to see where we are at the end of the weekend!
Besides links from the participating comics, I also saw a link on Kotaku the other day (one of my favorite gaming blogs) and Penny Arcade (the comic duo behind Child's Play), which is just great. And that's just from the sites I check regularly, who knows how many other people have given it a mention! For all those people I'd like to say thanks for helping to get the word out. And for those who haven't given it a mention on their site and would like to, feel free to grab this graphic and link it up!
As for me, things continue to be a bit crazy at the moment. My office looks like a bomb went off... I don't think it's ever been this messy before. I took a couple quick photos to mark the occasion. -_-;
Still the photos really don't capture the sheer magnitude of my clutter... you'll probably just have to take my word for it.
Tomorrow I'll take some photos of the actual postcard operation. Alyssa loves seeing pictures of herself plastered on the site after all! Also I'll probably be posting more frequently in general to keep everyone updated on the fundraiser, so be sure to check back in for more info this weekend!

Big announcement time!
Finally... this project has officially launched! Instead of doing my usual Staccato postcards for the holidays, I had this little fundraiser idea where all the proceeds go to Child's Play! I was even able to trick my cool friends into doing it too! Hopefully we'll be able to raise a nice amount for a great charity, and you guys can get some cool holiday postcards in the process. Be sure to check it out!
Now that I've finished my card art (which I thought came out pretty good, if I do say so myself), I can get back to comics and start up that new story arc. You know, in-between mailing out a ton of postcards for the next week or so. -_-;
