Back from Pennsylvania! Christmas was awesome, and I have a ton of great photos (and video)! My new camera rocks!
Before going into work this morning I tried to catch up on shirt/postcard/other stuff that came in while I was gone. If I haven't gotten back to you yet I will do so by tonight.
Well anyway, I'll try to get things updated on the site this weekend. Hope everyone had a great holiday!

Quick update: the postcard fundraiser is over, and we raised a little over $1,500 for Child's Play! Woo!
I'd like to thank Scott, Hawk and Jamie real quick for helping out with the project! This was the first time I've ever tried doing a charity fundraiser, and I am really amazed everything worked out as well as it did. It's safe to say that I will try and do this again next year.
Okay, Alyssa is yelling at me because we're late getting on the road. Just wanted to wish everyone a quick happy holidays!

Whee... starting a new story arc. Those are always the least funny strips! :/
Well anyway, time to fire off some news:
The fundraiser postcards have been extended one more day! I actually turned it off around midnight, then early this morning I noticed Tycho linked to it... so I figured I better extend it one more day, because hey, why not? The more money for charity the better! However I will have to turn it off tonight at midnight for reals, as I'm leaving for the holidays on Saturday and won't be able to ship out anymore orders. So uh, if you want some postcards you should get that order in ASAP!
The other exciting postcard news... as of midnight last night we've raised $1,443.30 for Child's Play! And since I thought the fundraiser was over, I've already dropped a check in the mail for that exact amount. Guess I'll be writing another one if a few more last minute orders come in today!
In non-postcard news, I ended up in the finals over at SketchBattle, and today features a new (and disturbing) full color entry. Don't let the teaser image below fool you... this sketch battle is not exactly full of Christmas cheer. >_>
Oh and how about the new Christmas header? Every year I've been meaning to make one, this year I finally broke down and did it. Christmas lights are a bit tacky... but hey, what do you expect?

More postcard stuff!
As of Saturday afternoon, I've been completely caught up with the fundraiser postcard orders. Hopefully everyone is getting their cards in a timely manner based on how quickly they got their orders in.
Since the weekend, orders have definetly slowed down, which isn't surprising... however they do keep coming in, so I've decided to set the final deadline for placing an order at 12/21/2006 (this Thursday). I'll probably leave the order buttons up, and if people want to keep buying postcards after Thursday they can, but any cards ordered after that won't ship out until after Christmas since I'm going away for the holidays.

Fortunately I got a lot done this weekend... including cleaning out my office. It is no longer the dumping ground that you saw in photos of last week. Certainly makes me feel a lot better.
As for comics, I plan to do the next one tonight, and then I have a SketchBattle final due Friday. Maybe I can get a few other things done too. At the very least, it's nice to be gaining some ground on all the stuff I've been working on.
