Quick update... convention box was messed up. Also I'm cancelling the April 1st Comic Book Show and attending the October 14th one instead (three cons in a month is just too many). >__<
Also Digital Overload was a lot of fun!
More later on how lazy I am and how much I suck!

Quick update #2... the store page has been redesigned a bit.
The most important thing to mention: four shirt designs are now "discontinued"... meaning they are still available at the moment, but they almost certainly will never be printed again. So if you have any interest in picking up a This Is My Axe, ROFLCOPTER, Got Hi-Potion? or Willamette Parkview Mall Staff shirt, you should probably put an order in ASAP.
Also I finally got the new Staccato buttons on there... unfortunately I'm still waiting for the Tequila buttons to arrive, so technically it's in preorder mode right now. These things are cool though, I'm really happy with how they came out, and the response at Katsucon was excellent!

God... I'm so lazy! It truly boggles the mind.
I mean I've been busy, don't get me wrong, but still... that's quite a stretch of no updates! Even for me!
Well time to start fixing that.
I've got so many things I'm overdue to blog about, where to begin...
Oh well first and foremost, I had a great time at Katsucon. Getting to the hotel itself turned out to be a massive ordeal this year, but once I was there things went well. Of course being the first con of the year I was quite unprepared and disorganized, but I don't think anyone minded too much.
And as always, one of the best parts of doing any convention is seeing old friends like Hawk and Ananth, Mookie, Crazy Penguin Launching Brian, Garth, and Rob.
Also met some new folks and slept with most of them. Uh, in the same hotel room I mean. Yeah. >_> Also I sat next to Chris (Blue and Blond) this year, real nice guy, didn't seem too upset when I stole his stuffed Turtwig he got from the dealers room (gotta catch 'em allllll!)
So now with Katsucon all wrapped up, next on my plate is Digital Overload... which is this weekend. Fortunately DO isn't really work, I just sit around and play video games all weekend. Yes I know, being a webcomic artist is tough!
Also I should mention, Sakura-Con and Anime Boston have been added to the schedule. AB is no big surprise, this will be my third year attending... but Sakura-Con is certainly a new one for me, as it'll be my first convention out in the northwest and I'm definetly looking forward to visiting the Seattle area!
Okay, now how about some non-convention news?
Well... the t-shirts seem to be under control now, after all the disorganization I had from having the first batch sent directly to Katsucon. If you placed an order, your shirt is either on its way, or I've sent you an email about it.
Now as for comic news, well... I'm still enjoying doing the Fork You strips, they're like a guilty pleasure for me. My biggest issue is making the site actually work. When it broke last time, I was so bummed out I just lost interest in getting the site work. The problem is, I really like doing the strips! So this week I'm gonna have to buckle down and see if I can hash out the code I have now and make it work... and if not, I gotta come up with something else.
As for the Staccato strips... I hear your cries! >_< I'm going to try and get back in the game for Tuesday. See if I can't break loose from this hiatusey streak. Fork You has actually given me some ideas for streamlining the strip making process, and I'm interested to see if I can carry some of that over to Staccato.
Okay that's a long enough rant for one day. Catch you later!

How ironic, a day after I mention one new shirt design, the other one goes live on ZeStuff!

This joke was stol.. er, BORROWED from Scott as part of the joke exchange program! But come on, seriously, how could I not make this shirt? >_>
Flying out to D.C. for Katsucon tonight... and I'm kinda unprepared. This always happens with the first con of the year. *sigh*

Craaaaaaaaaap.
I don't think I could be any more of a jerk than I am right now. I mean lets face it, I'm shirking a lot of responsibilities these days... and I have no good excuse.
This weekend I could have gotten a lot done, but after getting some bad news on Friday I got all whiney and decided to drown my sorrows in Warcraft for practically the entire weekend. Sure, I knew the code had broken on the Fork You site and the updates stopped going up, but I just blew it off. I totally suck!
But despite my general apathy, I have been working on a few important offline things. One of these I have to mention now because Scott totally stole the joke for his Valentine's Day comic (although I totally deserved it)... it's a new shirt design I'm testing out at Katsucon this weekend:

Yeah, so wrong... but also, so right!
This idea actually came from my friend Melody, who posts on the forum as Kittybrat... so if you find this shirt horribly inappropriate, well you can blame her! :P
But yeah, since it's Valentine's Day tomorrow and all, seemed like a good time to mention this design. If you're interested in snagging one I'll be putting up a preorders thing on the store page today.
Speaking of Katsucon, you should swing by if you're in the D.C. area this weekend... it's a great anime con (this'll be my third year going I believe) and it's always a good time. I'll have some shirts, prints, and a new thing I haven't even mentioned on the site yet! Another merch test run of sorts... >_>
So yeah, here's to getting back on track! Time to get some "motivation juice" (a.k.a. coffee)!
