Hey, what's up? I'm updating from the airport while on my way to PAX... and honestly... I don't know what to expect from this Penny Arcade created gaming con/expo. I mean, I went to E3 last year... but I get the feeling this is going to have a much different atmosphere. Well either way it's not work so it should be fun!
But hey, if you see me walking around feel free to say hi. I'll probably be wearing some familair shirts and hanging around with stinky and jerk-face. Hope they remember to pick me up at the airport. >__>
Oh yeah, I do a podcast now. Why I haven't I mentioned this yet? Because I'm an idiot that's why! Totally check it out.

God, why am I still so addicted to Mario Strikers Charged?!
The game may be ruining my life... but at least I'm in the top 200 for ranked online play this week. -_-;

Annnnnyway... in other news, it is my duty (haha... doodie!) to mention that ZeStuff now has my incredibly awesome Heartless shirt in ladies sizes! I was actually totally surprised to hear about this... I had no idea there was such a demand for a babydoll version of this shirt! But hey, you guys must have demanded it because they are making it!
This is actually my first ladies shirt to appear on ZeStuff, so the pricing is a little different... but hey, guys, nothing tells your girlfriend you love her more than a shirt that implies she was corrupted by the darkness that resides in all peoples hearts!
In less businessey news... I am so overdue on shoutouts to awesome webcomic people from recent conventions, I am going to lay down a few more recommendations for comics you should check out:
• Kittybot OMG Claire makes a mean jello Metroid and a killer paper robot!
• Swordwaltzer I've never seen someone promote their comic with a mime act...
• Dominic Deegan Mookie's off my enemies list because he threw a book at me!
• Questionable Content Alyssa loves her "Math is Delicious" shirt!
• Applegeeks Hawk is a giant nerd, and Ananth has impeccable taste in shirts!
Also, as a loyal member of the "Genrezvous Street Team" I am contractually obligated to mention that Genrezvous Point is back and updating daily again! Maybe Brian was just waiting for the real life Blu-Ray/HD-DVD war to be settled so he'd know how to end his story arc? Well tough luck buddy, that thing is going to last forever!

Haaaaaa... yeeeeah. Update... TO THE EXTREEEEME!
First before I forget, thanks to Brian Wilson for today's incredibly out-of-context-blog-title-quote. That has to be one of the best uses of an obscure video game reference in casual conversation ever.
So lets see, I got back from Otakon, proceeded to sleep for a week, and now I'm sort of alive again. (Also I went to my day job in between naps). I'll tell ya, I'm used to being worn out after cons... but ConnectiCon and Otakon back to back... that's just a whole new level of exhaustion. They both went well though, so it's very hard to complain (but of course I probably will anyway).
Right off the bat I have to thank Adam, Pip, Alyssa and Greg for helping me out at Otakon and Mike, Amy, Brian and Addie for helping me out at ConnectiCon. I probably overdid it at both of these cons in general and I certainly wouldn't have survived without these people saving my ass. -_-;
Now that I think of it, I really haven't had a chance to talk much about the last few conventions I've done (it is con season right now so they do go by fast). I'll try to take some time in the next few days to catch up on some notes about my recent con trips... but for now I have to say, all of the cons I've done this year have been great and it's just awesome to talk to fans of the strip, who are by and large extremely forgiving of my poor updates.
I don't think I've really talked about cons in general... but they are very interesting to attend. Since I started attending them as a comic artist in 2003, it seems like I sign on for more and more each year... and while I don't want to overdo it, at the same time it's really nice to have an excuse to get out of the house for the weekend, talk to readers, sell some stuff, and hang out with geeks (my kind of people). If you've never gone to an anime/comic book/gaming convention, you should definetly try one in your area sometime (and they are EVERYWHERE now)... they can be a lot of fun, and it's the kind of thing you should experience at least once (if you're a big geek like me anyway).
Well I need to wrap this post up, but I'll probably go into some more detail about the last few cons I've attended in the next post!
